Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Illinois. The role pays $21–$23 per hour and includes a variable incentive program. Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with benefits starting on day one, plus paid holidays and overtime opportunities.

The Production Technician will assemble panelboards/switchboards from drawings, perform tests, and ensure quality and safety standards. Lean improvements and cross-training are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in an assembly-related role with basic hand/power tools.
• High school diploma or GED accepted; technical schooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and panelboards/switchboards per drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and codes compliance.
• Use wire strippers, pliers, and other tools for electrical wiring assembly.
• Maintain tools and area per 5S and safety guidelines.
• Assist with lean initiatives and cross-train across functions.
