Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARSdivision is seeking a Production Technician (1st Shift) in Hayward, CA. The hourly rate is $24, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Core hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime and benefits starting on day one.

The role involves wiring, assembly, test preparation, and inspection of electrical control equipment. You will follow drawings, use hand/power tools, and contribute to Lean/5S initiatives while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

One year of assembly-related experience with hand/power tools or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
Residents within 50 miles of the work location; no relocation benefits.
No immigration sponsorship or work authorization support.

Responsibilities

Wire, assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies and components in electrical control gear.
Perform test preparation assembly and final inspection; verify integrity with power tests.
Assemble panelboards/switchboards per drawings and work instructions with hand/power tools.
Inspect finished products to meet quality and specifications.
Receive, store and prepare materials for shipment; support Lean 5S and safety practices.
Cross-train across functions as needed to support production needs.
