Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Production Technician for the 1st shift in the United States. The role involves assembling electrical components, testing for quality, and following Lean/5S practices. Eligible for a variable incentive program; hourly rate $23–$25.

Work hours are 6:30AM to 3PM. Benefits include health, vacation, paid holidays, and more. Candidates should reside within 50 miles of the location and have at least one year of related experience or a technical diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of assembly-related experience or a one-year Technical School diploma.
• Within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• No immigration sponsorship for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or H-1B related licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per customer specifications from drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance.
• Wiring assembly using wire strippers and pliers.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Support Lean initiatives and 5S guidelines.
• Cross-train across functions as needed.
