Job summary

Eaton Corporation is hiring a Production Technician (1st Shift) for its Panelboard / Switchboard Satellite Operation. The role involves assembling panelboards and switchboards to drawings, inspecting finished products for quality, and wiring assemblies with hand and power tools.

Candidates should be able to lift 35 lbs, work overtime, and follow safety procedures. You will join a team on the 6:00am–2:30pm shift, with competitive hourly pay and benefits, including health plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year assembly experience with hand/power tools or completion of a 1-year technical school diploma.
• Within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration or related work permits.
• Active-duty military candidates exempt from geographic restriction.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED; CNC bus fabrication/related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Wire electrical assemblies per drawings and schematics; use power checking procedures.
• Maintain production flow; report part shortages and quality issues.
• Support Lean / 5S and safety initiatives; cross-train across functions.
