Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Production Technician to assemble, wire, and test panelboards and switchboards according to drawings and instructions. The role requires attention to quality and safety, with opportunities to cross-train across functions as needed.

Typical hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as required. A minimum of one year in an assembly environment and the ability to lift 35 lbs are expected. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly related role with the use of hand and/or power tools or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specification based on electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Use wiring tools to perform electrical wiring assembly of panelboards and/or switchboards.
• Receive and prepare materials for shipment and communicate shortages or issues.
• Support Lean initiatives and maintain 5S in the work area.
