Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Production Technician to assemble panelboards and switchboards, perform wiring installations, and test finished products to ensure quality. The role requires use of hand and power tools, adherence to drawings, and active participation in Lean initiatives.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of assembly experience or a one-year technical school diploma, be able to lift 35 lbs, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of assembly-related experience or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the work location; no relocation benefits.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per electrical drawings and work instructions using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance with specs.
• Wire and assemble wiring harnesses according to diagrams and power flow.
• Receive, store, and prepare materials for shipment; maintain 5S and safety standards.
• Cross-train across functions and participate in Lean initiatives.
