Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join the team in Cheektowaga, NY. The role focuses on driving profitable sales through building strong customer relationships, promoting Rexel products, and delivering exceptional service.

You will work with leadership and suppliers to develop new markets, assist customers with product selection, and manage the sales cycle from quotation to payment resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate Rexel products; clearly communicate features and benefits.
• Grow business by acquiring new customers and selling additional products to existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers to plan and implement sales strategies and develop new markets.
• Assist customers with product selection and application using internal experts and supplier reps.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and tailor solutions to customer objectives.
• Identify customer objectives by evaluating operations to present customized solutions.
• Coordinate quotations and maintain ongoing communication throughout the purchasing lifecycle.
• Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly.
• Gather and report market and competitor information to management.
• Participate in training and development to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
