Job summary

Rexel USA in Cheektowaga, NY is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth by connecting with new and existing customers.

You will promote products, provide solutions, manage quotes, and collaborate with suppliers and leadership to expand markets while delivering excellent service. This role requires a strong sales background in the electrical industry and a valid driver’s license, with full-time on-site work in Cheektowaga.

Qualifications

3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
Valid Driver's License.
High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products; communicate features and benefits.
Grow business by selling to new customers and expanding within existing accounts.
Collaborate with leadership and suppliers on sales strategies and new markets.
Assist customers with product selection using internal experts and supplier reps.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Analyze customer operations to tailor solutions to objectives.
Coordinate quotes and maintain ongoing communication through the purchasing lifecycle.
Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payments promptly.
Report market trends and competitive information to management.
Participate in training to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
Maintain records of sales calls and expenses.
Coordinate product demos with vendors to showcase solutions.
Leverage digital tools to gain competitive advantage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
