Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment safely. You will handle boilers, electrical/control equipment, field controllers, MCCs, and instrumentation from 120V to 13.8kV, and AC switchgear.

You will perform preventative maintenance, calibration, thermography, and testing; troubleshoot DCS, CEMS, and process instrumentation; participate in plant shutdowns and ensure strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training preferred.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Perform maintenance of low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
• Troubleshoot DCS and historian devices; calibrate and test instrumentation.
• Participate in plant shutdowns and maintain clean, safe work areas.
