Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers, control systems, switchgear, and DCS networks. You will work safely on 120V to 13.8kV equipment and support energy-from-waste operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training, and the ability to rotate 12-hour shifts. Benefits start day one and include health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Formal technical or apprentice training, preferred
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test low/medium voltage switchgear and transformers.
• Maintain high voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Electrical maintenance for energy from waste boilers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS and process instrumentation.
• Operate and calibrate DCS and historian devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and thermography.
