Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair power plant equipment, from 120V to 13.8kV, including boilers, switchgear, controllers and DCS systems. You will perform calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This hands-on role supports energy-from-waste facilities and plant shutdowns. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus formal technical training and 3+ years of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test LV/MV switchgear, breakers, motor starters and transformers.
• Service high voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Electrical work on energy-from-waste boilers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and adjust CEMS, flow/level/temperature instrumentation and gas analyzers.
• Troubleshoot DCS and historian devices; perform calibration tasks.
• Carry out preventative maintenance incl. thermography and ultrasonic testing.
• Operate calibration equipment and document maintenance records.
• Support plant shutdowns and maintain clean, safe work areas.
