Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC in New York is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers and associated electrical and control systems, from 120V to 13.8kV, and AC switchgear.

You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, thermography, and testing; troubleshoot CEMS, DCS, and historian devices; and support plant shutdowns while upholding safety and Reworld values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with motor starters, PLCs and high power.
• Demonstrated alignment with Reworld values and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and testing of low, medium and high voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
• Maintain higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Conduct electrical maintenance on energy-from-waste boilers and related equipment (pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, cranes).
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS, DCS, and historian devices; document work performed.
