Job summary
Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to safely maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment—from 120V to 13.8kV, including switchgear, motors, and controls. You will support boilers, turbines, and pollution control systems while troubleshooting DCS and CEMS instrumentation.
The role requires technical training, 3+ years of related experience, and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Formal technical or apprentice training is preferred.
- 3+ years of electrical and instrumentation experience in industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and test low/medium voltage switchgear, breakers, starters, and transformers.
- Service higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
- Repair energy-from-waste boilers and related pumps, motors, conveyors, and cranes.
- Maintain energy-from-waste pollution control systems and related instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot CEMS, DCS, and historian devices; calibrate and monitor sensors.
- Record maintenance work and participate in plant shutdowns; keep area clean.
