Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers, electrical/control gear, field controllers, and MCCs. The role covers equipment from 120V to 13.8kV and AC switchgear at a carbon-negative waste solution facility.

Responsibilities include testing switchgear, transformers, DCS/CEMS instrumentation, preventive maintenance, calibration and participation in shutdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights/in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair low/medium voltage switchgear and switchyard equipment.
• Test and service boilers, electrical and control equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS, DCS, and instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Support plant shutdown activities and housekeeping.
