Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, while mentoring and evaluating your crew.

You will lead the team, ensure quality work, and coordinate schedules and materials to meet project goals, all while maintaining compliance with NEC guidelines and project specifications.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 electricians.
• Understands blueprints, project documents and specs.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervision.
• Develops manpower schedules and material lists from layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure work quality meets high standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the team
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands
• Assist in meeting production and budget goals by clear communication
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Perform field layout and basic wiring tasks as required
