Job summary

The Foreman Electrician role at Comfort Systems USA oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate performance while ensuring high-quality installation, coordination with supervision, and adherence to NEC guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and complex project documents.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership abilities with mentoring and coaching of a ~5-person crew.
• Ability to read blueprints and other contract documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Experience with field layouts and Trimble equipment/software.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Develop manpower schedules and material lists from drawings.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and NEC/local codes.
• Perform field layout and install electrical conduits and devices.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics; troubleshoot lighting/power circuits.
• Work with Trimble and BlueBeam for project plans.
