Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. seeks a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew and perform installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems on commercial or industrial sites.

You will lead Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor the team, and ensure work meets NEC and local guidelines while coordinating materials and schedules. The role requires strong leadership, blueprints comprehension, and ability to read project docs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities and capability to grow in this area.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of ~5 helpers, apprentices and journeyman electricians.
• A basic understanding of customer relationships and project communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and manage field operations.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Oversee installation, wiring, and terminations per project specs and NEC code.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out small sections of work from electrical drawings and project docs.
