Job summary

You will oversee installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems while mentoring the crew and ensuring high-quality results. You will read and interpret blueprints, develop material lists, manage schedules, and coordinate with supervision to meet production goals and budgets under NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach crews of five people.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience ensuring work complies with NEC and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding tasks and communicating them to the team.
• Ensure all work done by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout and measurement for electrical conduit installations.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics to guide work.
