Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects in Texas.

You will oversee installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, while mentoring the crew and ensuring quality work on schedule. You will develop material lists, coordinate with supervision, and verify work aligns with project specs, blueprints, and NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a foreman
• Ability to read and understand project blueprints and schematics

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work is to the highest standards
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints and job site demands
• Communicate lists to supervision and manage manpower
• Meet production and budget goals by coordinating with the team
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels
• Read project specs and project drawings
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and project documents
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software
• Determine wire and conduit sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
