Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will supervise installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, read blueprints, and manage materials, while mentoring team members and coordinating with supervision.

Responsibilities include developing manpower schedules, maintaining high workmanship standards, and ensuring NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of blueprints, specifications and project documents.
• Communicates with other trades and supervises subcontractor tasks.
• Demonstrates basic project scheduling and customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals and coordinate with team.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduits.
• Read project specs and layouts to plan tasks.
• Lay out work areas from drawings, including underground work.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
