Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman on commercial and industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate the team while coordinating installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems per NEC and project specs.

Responsibilities include developing manpower schedules, reading blueprints, sizing conduit and boxes, installing devices, and performing basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership with the ability to grow as a leader and coach a crew of about five.
• Understands blueprints, project specs, and NEC guidelines.
• Able to read construction drawings and coordinate with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and coordinate with supervision.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Install, terminate and troubleshoot electrical devices, conduits and panels.
• Read project specifications, blueprints and schematics and lay out work accordingly.
