Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, mentor, and evaluate performance while ensuring on-time, high-quality execution.

The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, NEC guidelines, and the ability to coordinate schedules and materials in a fast-paced site environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a crew of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of project drawings, blueprints, schematics, and NEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks and communicating priorities.
• Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
