Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alterations and repairs, while mentoring the team and ensuring quality workmanship.

You will read blueprints and project specifications, develop material lists and schedules, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals. Safety and NEC compliance are essential in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Leadership abilities with capability to grow; lead, mentor and coach ~5 crew members.
• Ability to read and understand project drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Develop and communicate material lists, schedules, and manpower planning.
• Interpersonal skills for coordinating with other trades and supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards and compliance with NEC guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals by planning and directing task execution.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics to guide work.
• Lay out and install electrical conduit, devices, panels and feeders.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
