Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead and mentor a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair tasks, coordinate with supervision, and monitor quality against project specifications and NEC guidelines.

You will develop material lists, read blueprints, and ensure the crew stays on schedule while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years electrical construction experience
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five workers
• Strong reading of blueprints and project specs

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure work quality meets high standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision
• Support production and budget goals through clear team communication
• Ensure crew work complies with NEC and local codes
• Measure, cut, bend, fabricate, and install conduit and related fittings
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels
• Read project specifications and drawings to lay out work
• Stay aligned with project schedules and safety requirements
