Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, mentor the crew, and ensure work meets top standards.

You will develop material lists, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with NEC and project specs while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities and ability to grow as a supervisor.
• Strong communication with trades and supervision.
• Understanding of blueprints, specs, and project documents.
• Ability to read construction documents and apply them on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with team.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings and underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
