Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Kentucky seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will lead Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring work meets high quality standards and project timelines.

You will develop material lists, coordinate with supervision, interpret blueprints and specs, and ensure all tasks align with NEC guidelines and safety requirements. Weekend/overtime availability may be required.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five workers.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, specs, and project documents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
  • Ensure quality of work meets high standards and schedules are followed.
  • Develop material lists from layouts and communicate with supervision.
  • Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the crew.
  • Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
  • Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
  • Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics to lay out work.
  • Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizes accurately.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
