Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Berea, KY is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will direct installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems while mentoring your crew and coordinating with supervision.

You will read blueprints and schematics, develop material lists, ensure NEC compliance, and help drive production and budget goals.

Qualifications

7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Demonstrates leadership abilities with the ability to grow in this area.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and schematics.
Strong communication with trades and supervision.
Ability to develop and manage crew schedules and material lists.
Knowledge of NEC guidelines and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Direct the crew to ensure work quality and adherence to standards.
Develop manpower schedules for the team and communicate with supervision.
Create material lists from layouts, area prints and job demands.
Help achieve production and budget goals by planning and communicating tasks.
Ensure all crew work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit; install devices and panel boards.
