Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on industrial and commercial projects in Kentucky. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, mentor team members, and ensure work meets high quality standards.

You will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, and coordinate with supervision to achieve production and budget goals while maintaining safety and NEC

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a leader
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians
• Basic reading of project documents and effective communication with other trades
• Aptitude for learning BlueBeam, Navisworks and related programs

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Work with the crew to ensure quality of work to high standards
• Develop manpower schedule for the team
• Create material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands
• Support production and budget goals by coordinating tasks
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and related components
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders
• Read and interpret project specs, blueprints and schematics
• Lay out small areas of work from drawings and project documents
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizes
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits
