Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician in Colorado to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, mentor, and train the team while ensuring work quality and adherence to schedules and budgets.

The role requires supervising installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, coordinating material lists, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work within projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work is to the highest standards.
• Develop an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the team.
• Ensure all work by the crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings, including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit and box sizing; perform basic troubleshooting.
