Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead and mentor a crew on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will oversee journeymen, apprentices, and helpers, read blueprints, and ensure quality while meeting safety and NEC standards.

Qualifications

7–10 years of electrical construction in commercial/industrial settings.
Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five helpers, apprentices and journeymen.
Understanding of blueprints, schematics and project specs.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Ensure quality of work meets the highest standards.
Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands for supervision.
Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating tasks clearly.
Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and electrical devices.
Read project specs, blueprints and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing; perform basic troubleshooting.
