Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical installations, alterations, and repairs. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers while ensuring high-quality work and adherence to NEC standards.

You will develop manpower plans, prepare material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budgets. Proficiency with blueprints and field tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial sites.
• Ability to lead and coach a crew of ~five workers.
• Strong blueprints and contract docs understanding.
• Willingness to read project plans with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site needs.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Read and understand project specs, blueprints, schematics.
• Field layout using Trimble equipment.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
