Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You’ll supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence while developing manpower plans and material lists from blueprints.

You will read project specs, perform field layouts with Trimble software, and coordinate with other trades to meet budget and production goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and can mentor a crew of five.
• Thorough understanding of project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Reads and interprets basic construction documents; communicates with other trades.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands; pass to supervision.
• Guide crew through installation, termination, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Provide field layout using Trimble equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with supervision and other trades to meet schedules.
