Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring quality work while mentoring your team and coordinating schedules and materials.

Applicants should have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, ability to read blueprints and NEC codes, and familiarity with Trimble, BlueBeam, and Navisworks tools.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor five crew members.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specs, and NEC guidelines.
• Ability to read project documents and develop man-hour schedules.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks, and related planning tools.
• Effective communication with trades and supervisors.
• Understanding of customer relations and satisfaction.
• Experience developing and following construction schedules.
• Experience with field layout using Trimble tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicating lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the crew.
• Ensure all work done by crew is within local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and project documents, including underground layout.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
