Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on industrial/commercial projects in Ohio. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to manage labor and materials in a fast-paced environment. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Strong understanding of electrical work scope and ability to read project docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work is to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands; communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out small areas of work from electrical drawings and documents; underground layout.
