Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician in Cincinnati to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen on commercial and industrial electrical installations. You will supervise site work, mentor junior electricians, and ensure work quality aligns with contract requirements and NEC standards.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint comprehension, and the ability to coordinate manpower and materials to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety and quality at all

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a small crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of project specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high-quality work and adherence to standards and safety protocols.
• Develop and communicate manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate with supervision
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the crew
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read project drawings, lay out work, size wires/conduits, and install systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
