Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will mentor Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, read blueprints, coordinate materials, and ensure work complies with NEC and client specs.

You’ll develop schedules, manage safety, quality, and productivity, and report progress to supervision. The role requires 7–10 years of field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read project documents and perform critical

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and ability to read blueprints and specs.
• Willingness to learn reading construction documents from other trades and to use BlueBeam/Navisworks when needed.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as project schedules require.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate to supervision.
• Contribute to achieving production and budget goals by planning and communicating needs.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit using tools and equipment.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels and feeder conductors.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics and lay out work from electrical drawings.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizes; perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
