Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial sites. You will install, modify, and repair electrical systems while mentoring teammates.

You will read blueprints, coordinate materials, ensure safety and compliance with NEC and local codes, and collaborate with supervisors to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of five Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman Electricians.
• Proficient reading and understanding of blueprints and project documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate lists to supervision.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduit as required.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Layout work from electrical drawings and project documents.
• Coordinate with supervision to meet schedule and budgets.
