Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will supervise, mentor, schedule manpower, and ensure work meets top quality and safety standards while coordinating with supervision on material lists and project progress.

The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of blueprints and project documents, and the ability to work with trade partners

Qualifications

7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow in this area, able to lead and coach teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
Understanding of blueprints, project specifications, and contract-related documents.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Ensure quality of work to high standards and train the crew.
Develop manpower schedules for the team.
Create material lists from layouts and communicate with supervision.
Assist in meeting production and budget goals and coordinate with the team.
Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit and devices.
Read project specs, blueprints and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
Determine wire, conduit and box sizing; troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
