Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. The role involves supervising installation, alterations and repairs while mentoring the team and ensuring work complies with NEC and local codes.

You will develop manpower schedules, read blueprints, and coordinate material lists with supervision, aiming for top-quality workmanship and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship by the crew.
• Develop an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate to supervision.
• Support production and budget goals by guiding the team on tasks.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings and underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
