Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers on electrical installations, alterations and repairs. You will lead by example, train staff, and ensure work meets project specs and safety standards.

You will read project documents, develop schedules, and coordinate material lists while maintaining quality and budget goals. Strong leadership and blueprint literacy are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Comfortable communicating with other trades and trade supervisors.
• Familiar with reading blueprints, contracts, and project docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through effective team direction.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local guidelines.
• Layout/install conduit and electrical devices per drawings and specs.
