Job summary

Amteck seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial projects in the Holly Springs, NC area. You will guide Journeyman, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities include developing manpower schedules, creating material lists from layouts, and ensuring work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines. Strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and safe work practices are essential, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, project documents, and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and NEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work aligns with high standards and project requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Ensure crew adherence to local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors as required.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics and lay out work from drawings.
