Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will lead, train and evaluate the crew while ensuring quality and safety on site.

You will read blueprints, coordinate material lists, and manage layouts with Trimble tools. This role requires strong leadership, accurate scheduling, and the ability to drive production within NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership abilities to mentor a crew of ~5.
• Strong blueprint comprehension and schematics reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment.
• Work with crews to meet production and budget goals.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local guidelines.
