Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities include mentoring, coordinating manpower, preparing material lists, and ensuring compliance with project specs, blueprints, and NEC guidelines. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead a crew of about five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of blueprints, project specs and schematics.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime when required.
• Strong communication across trades and with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands for supervision.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and conductors.
• Read project specs and electrical drawings to plan layouts.
