Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will supervise field work, read project drawings, and ensure work meets NEC standards and client specs.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and coordination with multiple trades, with on-site work including overtime as needed. Experience in conduit installation and project documentation is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of roughly five workers.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and project specifications.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure the crew's work meets quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop and manage manpower scheduling for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and site demands for supervision.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals through clear direction.
