Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems while mentoring the crew and ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on electrical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Comfort reading blueprints, blueprints, specs and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, conductors and equipment as required.
• Read project specifications and schematics to guide work.
