Job summary

Amteck seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems, mentor your team, read blueprints, and ensure work meets NEC and project specifications.

You will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, supervise safety, coordinate with other trades, and troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of five workers.
• Strong reading of blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Assist in development of manpower schedules for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating tasks clearly.
• Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards and conductors.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
