Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Field Technician to support start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service, and troubleshooting of 480VAC electrical bus duct systems (iMPB, HPB, TOB) and metering communications. You will work to establish strong customer relations while coordinating with CRC, supervisors, and management.

The role requires 1+ year hands-on electrical experience, ASMET and basic electrical theory knowledge, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
ASMET certification preferred.
1+ years in an electrical environment.
Basic training in electrical theory and technologies.
Ability to use electrical/electronic test equipment.
Mechanical aptitude and computer skills (Outlook/Word/Excel).
Valid driver’s license required.
Able to meet vision requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, and emergency service of Vertiv 480VAC systems.
Troubleshoot Vertiv iMPB, HPB, TOB and metering communications.
Establish and maintain rapport with customers and colleagues.
Evaluate operating conditions of equipment and communicate findings.
Manage own schedule and respond to emergency calls.
Aim for first-time fixes and provide timely reporting.
Comply with safety policies and report timecards/expenses.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
