Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician to support start-up commissioning, integration, and emergency service for 480VAC bus duct systems. You will interact with customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve issues, while maintaining safety and reporting standards.

The role requires hands-on electrical experience, basic electrical theory knowledge, and a customer-first mindset. On-site travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ASMET credential is required or preferred.
• 1+ years in a hands-on electrical environment.
• Basic training in electrical theory and technologies.
• Basic knowledge with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC systems.
• Maintain excellent rapport with customers, co-workers and sales representatives.
• Evaluate operating conditions of equipment and provide timely reporting.
