Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician to assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of 480VAC electrical bus duct systems. The role emphasizes customer rapport, safety, and clear communication with CRC, supervisor and management.

Responsibilities include evaluating equipment conditions, ensuring first time fixes, and reporting timecards and expenses. Requires 1+ year electrical experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASMET preferred or equivalent electrical training.
• 1+ year hands-on electrical environment experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and test equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with MS Office tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC bus duct systems.
• Establish rapport with customers and internal teams; maintain communication with CRC and supervisor.
• Evaluate operating conditions of equipment and strive for first time fixes.
• Provide accurate reporting of timecards and expenses; drive continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety policies and work outdoors and in variable environments.
• Respond to emergency calls and manage own schedule effectively.
