Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment for customers in varied environments.

You will be trained on product tools and receive support vehicles, uniforms, devices and laptops for daily work. The role is site-based in the U.S. with occasional overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent trade/vocational training in electrical disciplines.
• Able to read blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of AC and DC power and components.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of NFPA-70E or OSHA preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Work with the District Service Manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Continuous learning and training on various products in the field and classroom.
